Oversized Clothing

Every piece in this edit is unisex, cut with dropped shoulders and relaxed volume. Below: what the fit means, where you find it in the collection and what to check before choosing a size.

What is an oversized fit?

An oversized cut is designed noticeably wider than the body: the shoulder seam drops below the shoulder point, the body falls wider and straighter, and the sleeves carry more volume.

Sizing up a regular-fit garment does not give the same result. A larger size lengthens shoulders, sleeves and body together; this cut adds the volume deliberately to the body and the shoulder line.

Where you find it at Tossori

  • Hoodies — Studio Hoodie and Studio Zip Hoodie: dropped shoulders, ribbed cuffs and hem.
  • Sweatshirts — Studio Crewneck Sweatshirt: ribbed crew neck, completely blank surfaces.
  • T-Shirts — Core Tee: wide short sleeves, a small embroidered taste symbol on the chest.
  • Long Sleeve T-Shirts — Studio Long Sleeve Tee: structured shape, straight hem and ribbed cuffs.

The Women’s Long Sleeve V-Neck Tee is slightly fitted and the Studio Sweatpants use the relaxed Studio fit, so neither is part of this edit.

Choosing a size

Tossori pieces are listed in XS, S, M, L and XL. The volume is already part of the pattern, so compare measurements before sizing up for a looser look.

The most reliable method: lay a top that fits you well flat, then measure the chest width (armpit to armpit) and the length (shoulder to hem). Product-specific size charts will be published in each product’s size guide once production measurements are verified.

Balancing the volume

  • Five Elements — The hoodie and sweatpants set, in five colours.

A roomy top looks balanced with a straight or slimmer bottom; when top and bottom share the same ease, the silhouette reads as one relaxed set.

The Studio Hoodie and the Studio Sweatpants carry the same element embroidery and are designed to be worn together.
